Biography

Dr. Nojood Aalismail is a chief climate researcher and weather modification manager at the National Center of Meteorology in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Nojood had a great experience working as a postdoctoral researcher at KAUST in Astrobiology. Dr. Nojood is a former KAUSTian as she obtained her Ph.D. in Marine Science under the supervision of Prof. Carlos Duarte and her Master's in Bioinformatics under the supervision of Prof. Takashi Gojobori. Her Ph.D. project was on Aerobiology, studying airborne dust and the associated microorganisms. In her current job, Dr. Nojood works to support the projects of Saudi Green and Middle East Green Initiatives.
