Sakhaa Alsaedi is the founder and CEO of the startup Medvation. She and her startup create innovative educa- tional kits that teach children concepts in robotics and machine learning through fun and engaging methods.
She has received several international awards for her inventions. She is also the founder and leader of the innovation and robotics club “Ibtikar” in Madinah. Sakhaa is a Ph.D. candidate in the Computer Science program at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia, where she has since published high-impact biomedical and genetic articles. Sakhaa is expanding her knowledge in diverse fields of science and technology such as medicine, genomics, arts, and AI initiated by Muslim scholars at the House of Wisdom. She is inspired by the scholars of the Islamic Golden era to innovate and create interactive educational tools for children with he talented team using artificial intelligence algorithms and translating complex scientific concepts into fun and engaging educational kits. She believes in the importance of investing in young, talented brains and inspiring the next generation of inventors and innovators by helping them bring their ideas into real life innovations through Medvation.
