Abeer is a passionate thought leader in sustainability and urban design. She deploys a transdisciplinary approach to sustainability through her work and research. She has over 14 years of wide-ranging experience across multiple sectors with key strength in sustainability strategies and frameworks, large scale master planning developments, construction, lifestyle, and residential projects. She continuously encourages and spreads awareness on sustainable design and the role of nature in promoting wellbeing in cities. She served as a board director at the Emirates Green Building Council (2014-2016) and is backed by solid credentials (MSc in Sustainable Design of the Built Environment, BSc. in Architectural Engineering), WELL AP, LEED AP – US GBCI and Estidama -PQP PCRS with expertise in the Middle East.
