Biography
Bedour Alrayes is the Vice President of the Human Capability Development
Program (HCDP), one of the Saudi Arabia vision 2030 realization programs. She
holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science from King Saud
University and she received a PhD in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence)
from Royal Holloway, University of London in.
She held many positions at King Saud University: Co-Director of
Entrepreneurship Institute, Assistant Professor of Artificial Intelligence, and
founder and a manager of the Business Office at College of Computer &
Information Sciences. She is also a member of Oqal angel investors group. She
was a consultant and a member of many committees for different organisations.
Her main expertise is in artificial intelligence (AI) especially multi-agent
systems, automated negotiation, e-markets, FinTech and decision-making in the
domain of trading and economic, in addition to her interest in the field of human
capability development. She has many published research and awards. Her AI
agent CONAN has won the second place at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Prize for Saudi Students in the UK. Also, her Fintech “Saudi Money Investigator”
that uses AI for Anti-Money Laundering won the first-place award for the best
promising FinTech project from Mohammed Ibrahim AlSubeaei (MASIC)
Award for Entrepreneurs.
